Pentecost is red - flaming red! But the time for Pentecost is short, and coming at the end of the Easter season, it often gets neglected in the worship environment. But Pentecost is right up there with Christmas and Easter in terms of its importance as a feast. It's definitely a time for celebration!
Red Rejoice!, done in fire red silk, is a favorite for Pentecost, as well as Confirmation. And it makes a great backdrop for those Confirmation photos. Fire red Good News would also evoke the idea of wind and flame.
